Jaime Johns

Jaime is an experienced professional who has dedicated over two decades to collaborating within financial services.

Throughout her career, Jaime has gained expertise in nearly every aspect of financial advice and distribution. Having led Licensee and Private Wealth businesses through transformative periods, allowing her to leverage a diverse set of skills and experiences across advice, governance, research, portfolio construction, risk management, product development, and distribution.

Her focus is now providing consulting services to advice groups and corporate businesses of many different sizes. She is an experienced responsible manager, serving on advisory boards and as a non-executive director she has developed a reputation for her ability to support businesses to grow, navigate complex challenges and make sound judgments.

Position of Trust

At the heart of Jaime’s beliefs is the understanding that good advice centers on the educational exchange between an adviser and their clients understanding the advice that has been provided. Clients form a relationship of trust when they have understood the advice and value this provides to them. It sets a solid foundation to deliver an exceptional advisory experience long term.

Jaime considers herself fortunate to have commenced her career in a fee-for-service advice practice that was ahead of its time. This early exposure allowed her to understand, from the outset, that advice and the surrounding relationship are far more than the sum of their parts. She respects that exceptional advisers hold a privileged position of trust and often possess a greater understanding of their clients compared to other professionals supporting them. In essence, advisers become the caretakers of their clients' lives.

Solid and lasting relationships

For those who have yet to meet Jaime, what you see is what you get. She is a commercially astute individual with an infectious work ethic, displaying real passion for the advice industry and respect for the companies, teams, and communities she has had the privilege to be part of and contribute to.

Jaime defines success in this industry as being centered around relationships. She leads by example, expecting those she has led or worked alongside to exhibit curiosity, care, and a genuine embodiment of shared values, ensuring that these values are not just words adorning a wall.

As a sought-after thought leader in her field, Jaime frequently speaks at industry conferences and events, sharing her insights and expertise.
